The philosophy, curriculum and teaching methods used in these five different levels are carefully implemented to ensure a smooth transition from one level to another. As a result when it is time for the children to move on to the next stage they are more than ready.
While the philosophy and teaching methods are basically the same for all of these levels, it is necessary to recognise the need for an environment that provides developmentally appropriate learning experiences and opportunities for all of the children. This means that each group has an individual set of requirements, which we have to meet. Our overriding concern is that learning should be fun, for both the teacher and the pupil. If learning is made fun the children will never stop wanting to do it.
Writing a philosophy or curriculum is relatively easy, it is the quality of the teaching, the methods that are implemented and regular monitoring of the learning outcomes that decides whether or not the theory works in practise.
