KELA SUMMER FORMS
It is time to fill the KELA summer forms. As our invoicing system remain as last summer. It is now important to pay attention on how to fill your KELA form in, to avoid any missunderstandings and not to loose any of your benifits.
Make sure you write in the form how your child is registered in our care, not how your child is present/attending our care. The form does not ask when your child is on a holiday. It is asking the care-time as registered with us and the fee.
Eg. If your child is normally present full time, but this July your are on a holiday for two weeks, your July fee would be 670 euros for the whole month dispite of your holiday. (You pay even you are on a summer holiday.) To get the normal benifit from KELA you must fill the care time as 1.7.-30.7.2010.
The same way you can calculate also June's fee. (Please note that the June deduction will show in July invoicing.)
If you were to fill your form in by telling how your child is present/attending our center during july, there would be a danger that KELA thinks that you are paying for only those two weeks and they will cut your benifit by almost half. In that case you as a guardian would have to pay the difference.
